The 22nd Annual Texas Home and Garden Show is Houston’s premier destination for all your home and garden needs. From windows and doors to roofs and floors, this show covers more than 100,000 square feet, with more than a thousand products and services on hand, including experts and ideas all for your convenience. Build a home from scratch or renovate the space you already have!
The Texas Home and Garden Show is on Saturday, October 21 10am to 7pm and Sunday, October 22 11am to 5pm at the NRG Center, 1 Reliant Parkway Houston.
Featured at the Texas Home and Garden Show is the 10th Annual Remodelers Council Charity Garage Sale. Michael Jorewicz of VEJÓRE and Stacy Argo at APlus Glass coordinated the efforts including the donations of building materials, appliances and hardware items to be sold at the show. Attendees have a unique opportunity to purchase what they need to improve their homes at 50% to 75% off. The Charity Garage Sale is only available to the Texas Home and Garden Houston show attendees. Some items available – appliances, cabinets, light fixtures, ceiling fans, windows, floor tile, sinks and doors.
Proceeds from the annual Charity Garage Sale are used to fund the Remodelers Council local charity projects at non-profit organizations. Past projects include Agape Gateway House, Casa de Esperanza, SIRE Therapeutic Equestrian Center, EHCOS Community Center, Jacquelyn House, Open Door Mission, Habitat for Humanity, and the Sonrise Shelter. This year’s proceeds will go toward funding the Remodelers Council’s 2018 project.
Stacy Argo suggested that because of the devastation from Hurricane Harvey the Remodelers Council could assist the public by setting up a Flood Recovery Information Booth. This booth will be staffed by professional remodelers to offer helpful up to date information and advice to the public.
